Wamika Sunda, fashion expert in the video talks about the wide variety of fabrics you can choose from to get your wedding outfits. She suggests velvet, organza, crepe, mal and the total must have in your wedding trousseau is silk.

Every wedding season brings with it a new range of fashion. Winter weddings see a lot of dark colours, whereas summer calls for more pastel shades. However, this wedding season you can experiment with different shades of colours.

Scarlet red or maroon is undoubtedly the favourite colour for Indian weddings. The biggest reason behind that is because of the tradition and culture that considers red colour as the “colour of a married woman”. This colour has been always on the top for decades.

If red or maroon isn’t your colour, you can try softer shades of pink especially powder pink. However, nowadays brides don’t stick to only shades of reds and pinks and if you are the not-so-traditional-bride you can try colours such as yellow, ivory, tangerine and emerald green.

So, all the brides to be don’t be afraid to experiment with different fabrics and silhouettes. But don’t get carried away and don’t go overboard, choose a colour that compliments your skin tone and your personality.

We hope this fashion advice was helpful to you and hope you look stunning on your D-day!
