We have recently got our hands on a latest gadget which everyone is waiting for and we can see advertisement for it everywhere. Any Guesses?
Yes, it’s none other than the bright & beautiful OPPO F1 Plus Selfie Expert. When you hold the phone in your hands you’ll understand why OPPO hired Sonam Kapoor / Hrithik Roshan for the face of their brand because it is a sweet combination where glamour meets aesthetics.
On the back, you’ve got gold metal casing and boy the design is so similar to IPhone 6. Its sleek body and round edges around the corners, feels so premium in hand. On the front, you’ve got 5.5 inch full HD AMOLED display with Rock solid corning Gorilla glass 4. The screen display is crisp and bright both indoors and outdoors, you may want to crank up the brightness under direct sunlight, but that’s with every phone out there. The resolution is 1080×1920 pixels with 401 ppi pixel density; yup watching HD films, NETFLIX or GOT play anything on this screen and you’ll be amazed how bright and beautiful every detail looks. One of the best part is the side bezels which are almost to none with just 1.66mm thick and you get an all edge to edge display feel. The OPPO R&D team also offers Color OS 3.0 basically it’s an eye protection setting which helps in reducing the short waves emitting from screen which is gentle on the eyes for night readers. Thank you OPPO ;D .
When it comes to design comparison with IPhone6 and Samsung A7, IPhone6 and OPPO F1 plus has quite the similarities in terms of the base look but in terms of the display, the IPhone6 lacks full HD AMOLED display. It has only LED-backlit IPS LCD display, so the color ratio to Blacks and Whites are not as rich as OPPO F1 plus or Samsung A7 which has AMOLED display.
I am RAM monster, give me a phone and I’ll hang it for you. I play heavy games like asphalt 8, GTA: san andreas also apps like SoundCloud, Vimeo are my daily productivity and inspirational tonics. And then there is Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, a good chunk of memory management is needed to run such an empire. In my past experience only one+2 couldhandle my wrath, but OPPO F1 plus could be the next champion cause I’ve been using this phone for more than 10 days and it’s blazing fast. With 4gb RAM & octa core 2.0 GHz, you are carrying a beast in your pocket, not to forget 64gb of in-built hard disk with micro SD 128gb expandable hard disk space. With platform Android lollipop 5.1 nothing can go wrong here. There’s more, yup! You’ve got a finger print scanner which is blazing fast, I might say as fast as Huawei Nexus 6p! Fast charging is a necessity for every phone and you’ve gifted with VOOC charger which will give you 0% to 70% in 30 minutes.
IPhone 6 lacks a whole lot when it comes to RAM which is 1gb DDR3, I multitask a lot and even though IPhone 6 memory management is superb, I’ve managed to hang it 2-3 times. Something similar goes for Samsung A7 with 2gb RAM & Qualcomm snapdragon 615 chipset the phone feels faster but the moment you switch between heavy apps, the phone lags and sometimes the apps crashes.
Now the thing you’ve been waiting for – CAMERA! You’ve got 13mp rear camera with f/2.2 lens with autofocus. I love the shutter speed on this lens and what ever I click from this phone indoors or outdoors the results are surprisingly good. Along with that you’ve got other shooting modes like time lapse, video, beauty and panorama, Ultra HD, filters, GIF animation, double exposure and also control option for ISO, shutter speed and white balance. Now on the front you’ve got 16MP sensor along with a f/2.0 lens …… Amazing right! That’s why the tagline “Selfie Expert”! That’s not all, there’s a feature called beauty mode, which reduces the noise in the pictures beautifully without blurring the features. You will be amazed with the tech it comes with.
With OPPO F1 plus Selfie Expert
Here both IPhone 6 and Samsung A7 are both good camera phones when it comes to their sole performance, however there’s a ‘BUT’, the IPhone 6’s 8mp with f/2.2 has a lot to match with Samsung A7’s 13mp with f/2.0 and OPPO F1 plus’s 13mp with f/2.2. While you are offered with picture filters in all three phones but OPPO F1 plus’s control option for shutter speed, ISO, white balance provides better flexibility for advance photography. The only thing I miss is in the video category and that is Slow-mo video option which is missing in OPPO F1 plus, but may be that’s just me cause the Slow-mo videos hasn’t picked up on the trend yet but having that feature is always a plus sign. I’m sure OPPO has plans to come with it soon in their next version with even more better camera lenses than its predecessor.
So to sum it all up in a package in OPPO F1 Plus Selfie Expert, you are getting 4GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, Fingerprint reader, Great rear facing camera, Possibly the best selfie camera out there, VOOC fast charging, Thin bezels, Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
You just can’t go wrong with this thing. I hope you like the review and comparision. Thank you so much for reading!
