A Bling Night with the Sequins Dress

A Bling Night with the Sequins Dress

Hi Everyone!

This dress reminds me of the movie ‘Nerve’ where Emma Roberts wore a green sequins glitter dress in one of her dares. She looked pretty in the glitter dress and with her muddy sneakers in the movie. When I saw this dress on Shein, I thought this is the perfect replica of the dress she wore. I stop myself so many times from buying it, but I ended up getting it for me. This is a perfect party or a Saturday night dress for anyone who likes a Mini or a bodycon dress. I’m soon going to Goa and this will be a perfect night out dress.TPP_7005-2-1 TPP_7043-2 We choose a bar location for our shoot in particular because I wanted to create that ambiance which can do justice to the dress. The dress itself is such a statement piece that you actually do not need to wear it with anything. To keep everything simple,  I paired a simple block heel and a black clutch to go with it.TPP_6994-2-1 TPP_6996-2 The beautiful Emerald color of this dress, make me fall in love with it.  I think it is so important to have some statement pieces in your wardrobe, that when you wear them, you create your own statement of style. If you want to get this dress,  follow the link in the outfit section below.TPP_6961-2-1 TPP_7012-2Hope you have a great weekend and happy monsoon!  Thank you for reading and special thanks to Shein and Publiq Bar and kitchen for partnering on this post!

Summer Classics: Trench Jacket & Torn Denim

Summer Classics: Trench Jacket & Torn Denim

Hi Everyone!

I have been a bit slower in posting lookbooks recently and that is because we are finally launching our women fashion garment label and giving it a form of an online website. I’m super excited to launch the website soon and we are putting all our efforts and hard work on the website and doing all the required task with it. I will soon be releasing the same with all of you and I hope you like whatever we are coming up with. I will be needing all your support and love for making the website a successful venture. All your suggestions and love are welcome.

Coming back to today’s look! It is inspired by the summer essentials which we required to create an everyday look. For a casual, to a formal look, you need a structured blazer, but it is very difficult to wear blazers during summer because of the hot and humid climate. I created the whole look very summer friendly by pairing a torn denim with a tank top and on top of it to make it more structured, I paired a summer trench jacket with it. I have designed this trench jacket on my own keeping the structured look and the climate in mind. You will soon see the same trench jacket in our garment line in a different color.

Recently got this torn denim from Shein. This is not only torn from the knee but also from the ankle which is giving it a very cute and girly look. The denim feels super stretchy and true to its size. I totally love it. If you want to get this same denim then please click on the link provided at the outfit section.

Indian Look with Rent A Closet

Indian Look with Rent A Closet

Hi Everyone!

I’m back with another Indian look! Many of you told me that I look better in Indian than western wear but I feel more comfortable carrying western wear and I always feel that Indian wear need more elegance and patience to wear. However, whenever I wear something in Indian wear, you all love it.

IMG_4028 Untitled-11 IMG_4022

This beautiful grey lehnga is from Rent A Closet, which I totally love. Rent A Closet is an amalgamation of creative ideas and extravagant fashion choices where one can rent authentic designer wear clothes. Wearing designer wear for any occasion brings not only confidence but also happiness but not everyone can afford to wear their favorite designers but Rent A Closet has India’s biggest designer garments which you can rent for your special occasion, wear it and make your dream come true. You do not have to spend a fortune of money to wear your favorite designer garment but just the rental amount. There’s a seemingly endless variety of everything including ethnic wear, cocktail dresses, sparkly jewelry and even “Cinderella” dresses. Majority of the collection belongs to an ethnic category and all the top designers’ like Varun Bahl, Manish Arora, Shantanu and Nikhil, Ritu Kumar, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, Preeti S Kapoor, Amethyst, Anamika Khanna, Ridhima Bhasin are going to be seen mainstream in the selection.

IMG_4101 IMG_4056 IMG_4124

The lehnga I’m wearing is from the designer house of RUHMAHSA and the actual price of this piece is Rs. 40000 but you can rent this from Rent A Closet for 3 days for Rs. 4000. How convenient is that! This beautiful piece is pretty simple yet it is giving a statement look. The renting process of Rent A Closet is fairly simple and easy. They will take your order, fit the garment in your size and get it delivered to your doorstep and after your rental period, all you have to return the piece.

The last time I wore Rent A Closet was for AIFW (Amazon India Fashion Week) and that was a beautiful pre-draped saree from Anamika Khanna. I truly love how Rent A Closet making designer wear available for everyone.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you like the look.

Happy Thursday Guys!

Being a fashion blogger, I need have an artistic way of writing a blog, to create content, styling a garment and for that, I take a lot of inspiration from the people around me, from the places I go and from other bloggers too. I have been thinking about this look for a really long time and I finally created this look after I got my hands on to this beautiful lace shoe from Truffle Collection. For this look, I kept the neutral color palette in mind and gave a lot of emphasis on white and grey color collaboration.

Currently, on HouseofRuda we are selling this beautiful long blazer and when I created this piece, I was really happy to see the structure and the overall look of the blazer. Wearing blazer with this lace high ankle shoe, kind of completed the whole look for me. To maintain the minimalistic look of the pairing, I added a plain short and a black peplum top with my grey boxy bag. Just for a little blink to the whole outfit, I added the stone necklace. I believe minimalistic and comfort fashion is the new trend. From all the recent looks which I have created, this is one of my favorite look which actually came out super trendy.

We have recently collaborated with Truffle collection and produced a video where we showed how to wear thigh high boots in four different ways. Truffle collection has an amazing range of shoes available on their website from where you can shop. Here is the video where you can see all the four looks that I created:

I hope you like this look and our video. Thank you so much for reading this post.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!IMG_3780 IMG_3806 IMG_3836-2 IMG_3826 IMG_3798 IMG_3754

Last time I posted the lookbook with the crop top and skirt duo and you guys loved it absolutely so I thought why not sharing this amazing statement red blazer look with you guys. This blazer is also from Shein and I recently got my hands on it after looking at another blogger friend of mine who also owns this blazer. I totally loved it on her and she told me that this is from Shein. I have few statement pieces in my wardrobe and this will be another addition to the collection. I really like the popping red color of this blazer and I think if we make many more pairings look good.

I have been crushing over with the look of an oversized blazer wearing with the bracelet and a simple bottom. So for this look, keeping the popping color of the blazer in mind I kept everything else neutral. I added my high waist leggings with a basic black lace bralette with fanny pack clutch and same color shoes.

A Great Day: Co-Ord Dress & Pink Shoes

A Great Day: Co-Ord Dress & Pink Shoes

Hi Everyone!

Sometimes when you want something in life and it seems so hard to achieve, you should try to get it through a new and different way with a fresh approach. We were facing issues with our lookbook shoots as we cannot do it during daytime as heat waves are following in Delhi and it’s so hard to step out. So we have decided to do our shoots early morning till the summers are over.

Today we woke up at 5 am, got ready for the shoot and by 7 am we wrapped up this lookbook. I was so happy and impressed with the pictures which came out and it’s totally worth getting up so early. However, I went back to sleep for another 2 hours after coming back home (LOL!).

IMG_3684 IMG_3693 IMG_3671

Here’s something about the outfit I’m wearing today! Well, I got this co-ord dress (crop top and pencil skirt) from Shein recently and absolutely love it. I wore it three times from the day it arrived and I knew I have to do a look shoot with it. I do not understand how Shein is managing to deliver such pieces at such great price (Rs. 675 only). Trust me, the quality of the product is amazing and it looks so chic too. They have the same piece in white as well! I wanted to create a formal and smart look with the dress while I want to keep the whole look edgy, thus, I paired my bright pink pumps with my Charles and Keith clutch. I love the fact that how the location also helped us to pop out the bright colour of the shoes in the pictures.

It was indeed a great day and I truly love how beautiful the early morning shoot came out. Thank you so much for reading it. I hope you love the look.

Camouflage:: Oversized Shirt & Leather Leggings

Hi Everyone!

It seems like we have not done a lookbook post for really long. So, it’s time to post one!

I always had a soft corner for camo prints. I use to have a T-shirt and a dress in this print and now own an oversized shirt. Here’s showing you one way of wearing an oversized shirt. I’m planning to do a couple of more lookbooks with the same shirt by wearing it differently. Let me know if you guys want to see a video on this?IMG_9964IMG_9957

I have kept this look very simple by wearing the long shirt in the simple button up way. I have added a black belt to give it a clinch waist look because I’m wearing an oversized shirt and I don’t want it to look super loose. To make the look more comfortable and wearable, I have paired my black leather leggings and white sneakers. For accessories, I have added my tan Michael Kors bag, Daniel Willington watch and bracelet and reflective aviators.

I have tried to add all the earthy tones in this look to make this look camouflage with the background. This was such an easy and comfortable look that you can wear this for all your casual outings. I love casual wear, especially which gives comfort and I always encourage you guys to always wear clothing which comforts you. The good thing about this eras fashion is comfortable clothing.IMG_9962 IMG_9998 IMG_9975 IMG_9973

Levet:: Leather Skirt & Velvet Top

Levet:: Leather Skirt & Velvet Top

Hi Everyone!

This is an all-black outfit with so much depth because of the different material which has been used in this outfit. The top has a velvet material and the skirt has a leather material. I feel that if you are wearing the same color outfit overall, you should differentiate the top and the bottom with different shades of the same color or play with the material to create the necessary depth in one pairing.

Here, I’m wearing this beautiful velvet top from Shein. I totally love the plunging neckline and the shoulder detail of this top. The beaded metallic detail with shoulder pads definitely making this top a statement piece. I paired this beautiful bodysuit with my A-Line midi skirt. I’m totally loving the whole pairing and how beautifully both the pieces complemented each other.

To finish the look, I paired my purple heels and some nude basic lipstick with it. This look is great for night party or dressy meetups. I simply love how this look came out.

Hi Everyone!

The Spring Season is almost here and the weather is changing. As the weather is becoming hotter day by day, I’m getting inclined towards lighter clothes and flowery patterns. I saw this beautiful maxi dress in Romwe.com and it immediately reminded me of the coming weather. With the elastic waist, this dress is perfect to beat the heat and look stunning this season.

To make the pairing a little edgier, I added the silver hoop earrings with the statement ring. This look is perfect for Spring – Summer season especially for a day outing or shopping with friends. I was so excited to share this look with you and now that you guys have seen it, let me know in the comments section, what you think about the look.

Fun Day Out: Orange Kimono & Blue Top

Fun Day Out: Orange Kimono & Blue Top

Hi Everyone!

Mixing and matching is so much fun especially when you are on a shopping spree and picking up your outfit for the coming season and be next season ready. I saw this beautiful Kimono at Max Fashion from their spring collection and I cannot let it go from my hand. I totally love the bright color and the print. The tag of this Kimono says ‘It’s not a nightwear, its streetwear’. Personally, I love Kimonos as they look so cool and smart as well as, you can pair it with so many things and it’s so comfortable to wear.

I paired the whole look keeping the Kimono in mind. I added the embroidered top with the woolen stockings and brown boots to give the whole look a fun twist. The whole pairing was so comfortable and edgy. Max fashion’s spring collection has lots of fun and beautiful prints in bright colors. If you are in a mood for spring and summer shopping, you should check out Max Fashion’s new collection.
