Amazing WLFW 14: Printed Jumpsuit and Quilted Bag

Amazing WLFW 14: Printed Jumpsuit and Quilted Bag

Hi Everyone,

This week was very hectic and full of amazing fun and experience. I attended the Madame Bloggers Meet and then followed by the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2014. Later in this post, I will share some of the amazing show details which I attended but first let me show you one of my favorite outfit which I wore in these events.

I bought this Jumpsuit recently from Forever 21. I was planning for a jumpsuit from quite a long time but no one catches my eyes till I saw this one. The printed pattern on this jumpsuit is so summery and adorable. The light weight of this jumpsuit makes it a must have for the summer. I also love the fact that this jumpsuit had pockets in it which makes it convenient to carry my visiting cards and phone in them.

Here’s the details of the shows I attended in Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week  Autumn-Winter 2014.

Tarun Tahiliani

I attended the first show of this season which was kick started with Tarun Tahiliani’s collection. With the rich Indian colors, the designer created amazing outfits in raw silk and zari, chanderi and chikankari with a contemporary twist. The show looked outstanding with the lovely live performance by the musicians from Rajasthan and beautiful background. Showstopper Shilpa Shetty dazzled the ramp in a layered Kanjeevaram lehenga and draped corset.

Here’s some of the amazing outfits from that show:

Anand Bhushan
The concept of Anand Bhushan’s show was very interesting where his laboratory took up the microscope for a close study of shiny, happy people. The result is a version 3.0 upgrade of clothing for the superior species of plastic people who will conquer the world.
Here’s some of his outfit collection

 Nachiket Barve

His collection was inspired by the Maori culture from New Zealand. The label stands for modern, progressive design that’s clever yet commercial. We saw some very interesting patterns of print and style in his new collection.

Here’s some of his outfit collection:

Birthday Bash: Peplum Top and Leopard Legging

Birthday Bash: Peplum Top and Leopard Legging

Hi Everyone!!

I was excited about my birthday which was on second week of this month. Birthdays come with lots of treats, gifts and surprises. This year my birthday surprises started early with a trip and lots of lovely gifts, thanks to my friends and family :)

I wore this outfit on my birthday. The pretty peplum top and the body fit legging gave me the freedom and comfort to enjoy the evening with my friends. We went out for lunch and then enjoyed the evening with a get-together and with the birthday cake :)

A peplum dress or a top gives a beautiful hourglass shape to your figure and to make it more appealing, I paired my leopard legging with it. I have also paired this legging in my previous post (Here).

Black is always one of my favorite colors. Any skin tone looks nice with a black pairing. This peplum top has black lace and small bids work in it which makes it so adorable.

Tulle Love: Leopard Sweater and Tulle Skirt

Tulle Love: Leopard Sweater and Tulle Skirt

Wish you a very happy and colorful holi!

Last week was fun and amazing in Mussoorie. While our stay at the hotel, we managed to click some pictures for our next blog post.

Since my childhood, I always had a crush on Tulle Skirts. It reminds me of those beautiful princesses in the fairy tales.

I finally got my own Tulle maxi skirt which I wore in this pairing. This is a kurta of a suit which I’m wearing as a skirt here. The lace work in this kurta gives it a very beautiful flair look and by adding a body fit sweater gives the bottom a cute tulle skirt look. I always like to add different clothing pieces in my wardrobe which I can pair.  This way it always gives you a feeling that you are wearing something new everyday.  IMG_3396-1

To keep the look more fairy tales like, I paired my sequenced bracelet and diamond earring.

Weekly Tip: New York Fashion Week Street Chic

Weekly Tip: New York Fashion Week Street Chic

Hi Everyone!

Fashion Week 2014 will get over today. This year the fashion week started with a big bang in the snow covered New York, then to London, Milan and finally will end in Paris. By fashion week we mean a fashion industry event, lasting approximately one week which allows fashion designers, brands or “houses” to display their latest collections on runway shows and buyers and the media to take a look at the latest trends. Most importantly, these events let the industry know what’s “in” and what’s “out” for the season.

So, I will be showing you the best dresses of street style from these four fashion weeks in the next four weekly tip posts starting with the New York Fashion Week. These styles have come directly from the other bloggers and fashion editors or stylists. You can wear these in your day to day life and feel fashionable.

Feminine Side: Skater Dress and Slouchy Bag

Feminine Side: Skater Dress and Slouchy Bag

Hi Everyone,
I have so much to discuss with you guys today. So, let us start with today’s look.
I have paired this lovely skater dress from Forever 21 with little accessories. This is a simple look which you can wear to a get together, formal party or for a night out with your girlfriends.
The stretchy material of this dress is very soft and comfortable and the look of this dress shows a feminine side of you so nicely.
Next week, I’m again traveling for a short vacation to Mussoorie. I need your suggestions about the places I can visit nearby. I have certain places marked out to visit but I still need your suggestions as I want to explore more.
Also, I have a big surprise for you guys which I will share next week. I have my fingers crossed and I hope you guys like the surprise! Well, I have worked very hard to achieve it and finally I’m very excited to share it with you guys.
Do not forget to leave your comments and suggestions regarding the post as well as the places I should visit during my stay in Mussoorie  :)
